How often do we get to actually slow down on the weekend?

These days our Saturdays and Sundays are so busy, we look forward to Monday. Crazy, huh? Well, here's something to add to your calendar that may help remedy the fast-forward weekend!

Every month, on the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday before the first Monday, The City of Weatherford, Texas hosts FIRST MONDAY TRADE DAYS. And they've done it for over ONE HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE YEARS.

I mean, it's really a cool place. You might see anything from antique beds to chickens. Funky jewelry to plants. Old records to iphone cases. Lions, tigers, and bears (stuffed ;-})

Spend a day to just chill and explore. Then when you're ready for some authentic Hickory-Smoked Texas BBQ, hand-breaded cooked-to-order Catfish fillets, or our Signature Sweet LemonadeTea, visit us at the new fancy schmancy food park.
